Wonthaggi

Wonthaggi is a town in Bass Coast Shire, about 104 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. McBride Avenue is the principal commercial street, with McKenzie Street and Plaza Biggs Drive supporting the town centre. Wonthaggi is the largest town in South Gippsland and was founded around coal mining, with the wider region now associated with tourism, beef and dairy industries.

Wonthaggi is a neighbourhood trading strip, with shopfronts and medical or consulting suites serving the town and surrounding South Gippsland communities.
