Tuggerah is a major commercial hub in Central Coast Council, about 65 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Reliance Drive and the Pacific Highway serve the Tuggerah Business Park, Westfield Tuggerah, the Tuggerah Supa Centre and other commercial areas. Tuggerah railway station and the Pacific Motorway provide strong regional connections.

Tuggerah is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories supported by office suites and floors and medical or consulting suites across a large light industrial and commercial area. Berkeley Vale, Wyong and The Entrance are useful comparisons.
