Thornbury

Thornbury is an inner Melbourne suburb in the City of Darebin, about 7 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. High Street is the main trading strip, centred on Thornbury Village, while Dundas Street marks a long-established industrial edge near Preston. The suburb is a narrow area between Merri Creek and Darebin Creek, with a mix of shopping, industry and residential streets.

Thornbury has an office and consulting market, with medical or consulting suites and office suites and floors in and around the High Street centre. Warehouses and factories remain part of the stock along the Dundas Street and Station Street industrial areas. Northcote, Preston and Fairfield are close comparisons.
