Thebarton

Thebarton is an inner-western Adelaide suburb in the City of West Torrens, about 3 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. Phillips Street and Dew Street sit within a suburb bounded by the River Torrens, Port Road, Bonython Park and South Road. Heritage places include the Squatters Arms Hotel, Thebarton Baptist Church and Hall, and the Walter Burley Griffin-designed Thebarton Incinerator.

Thebarton is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories alongside office suites and floors and medical or consulting suites. Its inner-western location and mix of industrial, institutional and heritage buildings create a broad local employment market. Hindmarsh, Torrensville and Mile End are nearby comparisons.
