Taren Point

Taren Point is a small waterfront suburb in the Sutherland Shire, about 19 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Bay Road and Atkinson Road serve the peninsula, which sits near the Captain Cook Bridge and the Georges River mouth. The suburb contains residential areas, shops, retirement housing, Gwawley Oval and other local facilities.

Taren Point is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories and office suites and floors suited to practical businesses near the waterfront and major road links. The commercial setting is concentrated around the peninsula's operational areas. Caringbah, Miranda and Cronulla are nearby comparisons.
