Symonston

Symonston is a primarily industrial and agricultural suburb of Canberra in the Jerrabomberra local government area, about 7 kilometres from the Canberra CBD. Taubman Street is a principal local road through the suburb, which contains Geoscience Australia's headquarters, detention facilities and caravan parks. The suburb is named after Sir Josiah Symon, one of the original framers of the Australian Constitution.
