Stepney is a small near-city suburb of Adelaide in the City of Norwood, Payneham and St Peters, about 3 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. Magill Road is the principal commercial corridor, meeting Payneham Road at the historic Maid and Magpie Hotel junction.
