Stawell

Stawell is a town and local government centre in the Shire of Northern Grampians. Main Street forms the traditional town centre, while the Western Highway bypass has created a newer commercial centre along Longfield Street. Stawell is a gateway to the Grampians National Park and retains an active gold mining industry.

Stawell is a mixed commercial market, with shopfronts, office suites and floors, and warehouses and factories supporting retail, services, industry and tourism. The premises serve a regional town with a broad local economy rather than a single specialised precinct. Ararat, Horsham and Hamilton are nearby comparisons.
