Springwood is a town in the City of Blue Mountains, about 62 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Macquarie Road is the commercial centre, running parallel to the Great Western Highway and the railway line. Springwood railway station is on the Blue Mountains Line, with bus services linking the town to Penrith, Winmalee and other Blue Mountains communities.
