Smithfield

Smithfield is a western Sydney suburb in Cumberland, about 25 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. The Horsley Drive is the main commercial road and a major east-west transport corridor, with health services, specialty shops, commercial services and restaurants along its retail and service precinct. The northern part of the suburb is an entirely industrial area beyond Prospect Creek.

Smithfield is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories concentrated in the northern industrial area. Fairfield, Yennora and Pemulwuy are nearby comparisons.
