Silverdale is a small town in Wollondilly Shire, about 56 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. The town is reached via Silverdale Road and is close to the historic township of Warragamba and Warragamba Dam. Its setting remains relatively isolated from the expanding urban areas around Penrith.
