Sherwood is a south-western Brisbane suburb in the City of Brisbane, about 8 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Primrose Street is a local commercial street, while the retail strip is centred along Sherwood Road. The suburb is served by Sherwood railway station on the Ipswich and Springfield lines, with bus services along Oxley Road.

Sherwood has an office and consulting market, with medical or consulting suites, office suites and floors, and warehouses and factories in a mixed suburban setting. Graceville, Tennyson and Yeerongpilly are nearby comparisons.
