Rye is a seaside suburb on the Mornington Peninsula in the Shire of Mornington Peninsula, about 63 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Point Nepean Road is the coastal commercial strip, set between Port Phillip's bay beach and the peninsula's ocean-facing landscape.
