Preston

Preston is a northern suburb in the City of Darebin, about 9 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. High Street is the main trading strip, with Bell Street forming a major cross-suburban road. The suburb is largely flat, bordered by Darebin Creek, and is served by tram, train and buses.

Preston has an industrial and distribution precinct profile, with warehouses and factories alongside office suites and floors and shopfronts in its established commercial corridors. Thornbury, Fairfield and Northcote are nearby commercial comparisons.
