Port Douglas

Port Douglas is a coastal town and locality in the Shire of Douglas, Queensland, adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. Macrossan Street is the town's principal trading strip, linking the commercial centre with a destination first established as a port town and later developed as a tourist destination. The Captain Cook Highway connects Port Douglas with Cairns and Mossman.

Port Douglas has a mixed commercial market, with shopfronts along the town centre supported by office suites and floors and warehouses and factories for operational uses.
