Petrie is a suburb in the City of Moreton Bay, about 23 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Anzac Avenue is the main commercial road, with Dayboro Road forming part of the town-centre junction and local village setting. Petrie railway station connects the suburb to Brisbane, Ipswich, Caboolture, the Sunshine Coast and Gympie, while the North Pine River bounds its southern edge.
