Pakenham is a south-eastern Melbourne suburb and the largest population centre in the Shire of Cardinia, about 55 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Main Street is the principal town-centre street, with Bald Hill Road and Sette Circuit supporting the wider commercial and growth-area setting. Pakenham is served by suburban and V/Line rail services, the Princes Highway and the Pakenham Bypass.
