Nuriootpa

Nuriootpa is a town in South Australia and the major commercial centre of the Barossa Valley, about 62 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. Barossa Valley Way is the principal approach and commercial spine, with Murray Street forming part of the town centre. The town sits among vineyards and is home to wineries including Penfolds, Elderton Wines and Wolf Blass.

Nuriootpa is a regional city centre, with warehouses and factories, office suites and floors, and shopfronts supporting the Barossa's business, service and visitor economy. The commercial stock serves a broad regional catchment rather than a single neighbourhood trade. Tanunda, Gawler East and Gawler are useful comparison markets.
