Northgate is a northern suburb in the City of Brisbane, about 10 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Landy Street and Toombul Road serve a suburb where residential areas sit alongside industrial areas, with Northgate railway station forming the junction of the Shorncliffe and North Coast lines.

Northgate is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories positioned close to rail connections and major northern transport routes. Nearby commercial areas include Banyo, Nundah and Virginia.
