New Norfolk

New Norfolk is a riverside town on the River Derwent in south-eastern Tasmania. Established in 1807, it is the main township of the Derwent Valley region and lies 32 kilometres north-west of Hobart along the Lyell Highway. Its economy has historical links to agriculture, hop farming, timber and Boyer Mill.
