Mudgeeraba is a town and suburb in the City of Gold Coast, about 76 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Railway Street forms the main commercial setting in a suburb whose essential character remains that of a nineteenth-century village. The area includes heritage buildings such as the Wallaby Hotel and the former Mudgeeraba Post Office, alongside the Mudgeeraba Creek catchment.
