Mount Kuring-Gai is an outer northern Sydney suburb in Hornsby Shire, about 26 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Beaumont Road is the main local commercial street, with the suburb divided by the Pacific Highway, the Main Northern railway line and the Pacific Motorway. Mount Kuring-Gai station serves the western side, where a shopping centre and industrial area support local businesses.

Mount Kuring-Gai is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories ranging from manufacturing and electronics to publishing and depot operations. Nearby commercial markets include Belrose, Asquith and Warriewood.
