Mont Albert is an inner eastern Melbourne suburb in the Cities of Boroondara and Whitehorse, about 12 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Hamilton Street is the small village shopping strip, lined with shops, cafes, restaurants and eateries, while Whitehorse Road provides a second commercial frontage. The suburb's former railway station and heritage trail reflect its established character.
