Mitchell is a light-industrial estate in Canberra's Gungahlin district, about 7 kilometres from the Canberra CBD. Dacre Street and Vicars Street are estate streets in a suburb named after explorer Thomas Mitchell, with the local road network laid out around industrial uses. Mitchell also contains an adult entertainment cluster permitted under Canberra's planning arrangements.

The market is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories and office suites and floors in a dedicated employment area. Gungahlin, Dickson and Bruce are nearby commercial locations.
