Miranda is a southern Sydney suburb in Sutherland Shire, about 21 kilometres from the Sydney CBD, and the main retail and commercial centre of the shire. Kiora Road and Kingsway form the principal shopping strip around Westfield Miranda and Miranda station, while the northern centre includes a light industrial area around Port Hacking and Box Roads.

The market is an office and consulting market, with office suites and floors and medical or consulting suites in a major suburban centre. Caringbah, Taren Point and Kirrawee are nearby commercial comparisons.
