Maidstone

Maidstone is an inner-western Melbourne suburb in the City of Maribyrnong, about 8 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Hampstead Road is a local commercial road within a largely residential suburb that also contains pockets of light industrial and commercial land. Tram route 82 runs along the northern part of Maidstone, with buses linking the suburb to Footscray and surrounding centres.

Maidstone is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories, office suites and floors, and showrooms and large-format floors suited to its mixed light-industrial setting. Maribyrnong, Braybrook and West Footscray are useful comparisons.
