Launceston

Launceston is a regional city in northern Tasmania, at the confluence of the North Esk and South Esk rivers where they form the River Tamar. St John Street and Brisbane Street define the city block commercial centre, which serves as a major retail and service hub for northern Tasmania. The city has many historic buildings and includes a University of Tasmania campus.

Launceston is a regional city centre, with office suites and floors, medical or consulting suites and shopfronts serving a broad service and retail economy. Invermay, Waverley and Kings Meadows are nearby commercial areas.
