Kingaroy

Kingaroy is a rural town and locality in the South Burnett Region. Its commercial centre is Haly Street and Alford Street, the town streets associated with civic buildings, heritage properties and the Kingaroy Peanut Silos. Kingaroy is the seat of the South Burnett Region and is known for peanut processing, with extensive farmland, the Booie Range and the Stuart River shaping its setting.

Kingaroy is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories supporting a regional agricultural economy, alongside development sites and medical or consulting suites. The commercial stock serves a rural district centred on peanut, navy bean and wine production. Nearby markets include Beenleigh, Dalby and Gympie.
