Kempsey

Kempsey is a Mid North Coast town and the council seat of Kempsey Shire. Smith Street and Belgrave Street form the historic commercial core near the Macleay River, with the town positioned on the Macleay Valley Way close to the Pacific Highway and North Coast railway line. Heritage sites include the Kempsey Post Office and St Andrew's Presbyterian Church and Hall.

Kempsey is an office and consulting market, with shopfronts and office suites and floors serving a regional centre based on tourism, farming and service industries. Port Macquarie, Macksville and Wauchope are nearby markets.
