Jindabyne

Jindabyne is a town in south-east New South Wales, in Snowy Monaro Regional Council, overlooking Lake Jindabyne near the Snowy Mountains. The town centre follows Kosciuszko Road, with retail and commercial activity around Gippsland Street. The township was moved to its present location in the 1960s after construction of Jindabyne Dam, and its proximity to Thredbo, Perisher and Charlotte Pass supports year-round tourism.
