Innisfail

Innisfail is a regional town and the largest township in the Cassowary Coast Region. Edith Street and Rankin Street form the central business district at the junction of the Johnstone and South Johnstone rivers, about five kilometres from the coast. The town is surrounded by tropical rainforest and farmland, with Art Deco buildings and heritage sites including the courthouse and Johnstone Shire Hall adding character to the centre.

Innisfail is a regional city centre, with office suites and floors, warehouses and factories, and medical or consulting suites serving a regional agricultural and service economy. Gordonvale, Edmonton and Atherton are nearby markets.
