Hawthorn is an inner Melbourne suburb in the City of Boroondara, about 6 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Burwood Road and Glenferrie Road form prominent commercial strips, with Glenferrie Road's shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants and nightclubs supported by Hawthorn and Glenferrie stations and several tram routes.
