Glenorchy

Glenorchy is a suburb and local government centre of Hobart in the City of Glenorchy, about 7 kilometres from the Hobart CBD. Main Road forms the principal commercial street in a city bounded by the River Derwent and Mount Wellington. Glenorchy Central, Northgate Shopping Centre and Glenorchy Plaza form one of Tasmania's largest shopping districts outside Hobart's CBD.

Glenorchy has an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories, office suites and floors, and shopfronts.
