Footscray

Footscray is an inner-west Melbourne suburb in the City of Maribyrnong, about five kilometres from the CBD, and the council seat. Hopkins Street is the main trading strip. Heavier commercial stock sits toward the Maribyrnong River on Albert, Moreland, Maribyrnong and Whitehall Streets. Footscray station is on the Sunbury, Werribee and Williamstown lines.

This is a mixed inner-west market: a retail and hospitality strip plus older industrial and office floors, not a CBD tower precinct. Premises advertised for lease tend to be warehouses and factories, offices, medical or consulting suites, and shopfronts. Neighbouring published leasing markets include Kensington, Yarraville and the Melbourne CBD.
