Essendon

Essendon is a suburb in the City of Moonee Valley, about 8 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Mt Alexander Road is a major tram and commercial corridor, with Keilor Road and Buckley Street adding further suburban activity. Essendon, Glenbervie and Strathmore stations serve the suburb on the Craigieburn line, while tram route 59 connects the area with the city.
