Elwood is an inner south-east Melbourne suburb in the City of Port Phillip, eight kilometres from the central business district. Elwood Village runs from New Street through Ormond Road to Glen Huntly Road, with cafes, restaurants and local shops, while Elwood Beach and its leafy Edwardian and Interwar streets shape the suburb's bayside character.
