Elsternwick

Elsternwick is an inner south-east Melbourne suburb in the City of Glen Eira, about nine kilometres from the CBD. The commercial centre is Glen Huntly Road: a village strip of Victorian shopfronts, cafes and restaurants, with first-floor offices and consulting rooms above the street. Elsternwick station on the Sandringham line sits on the same strip, and tram route 67 runs the length of Glen Huntly Road.

This is a neighbourhood trading strip, not a CBD floorplate or an industrial precinct. Premises advertised for lease tend to be small shopfronts, first-floor offices, and medical or consulting suites that can move between those uses. Neighbouring suburbs with deeper published leasing markets include Brighton, St Kilda and Prahran.
