Dural is a semi-rural suburb in The Hills Shire, about 25 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. New Line Road is the principal commercial route, with Old Northern Road forming the established Hills District corridor. Dural includes the locality of Round Corner and has no railway station, relying on bus connections to Castle Hill, Cherrybrook and Pennant Hills.

Dural is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories supported by office suites and floors for trade, service and rural-lifestyle businesses. The premises are generally road-based and suited to larger-format occupiers in a semi-rural setting. Castle Hill, Thornleigh and Pennant Hills are nearby commercial comparisons.
