Docklands

Docklands is an inner-city waterfront suburb in the City of Melbourne, about 2 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Collins Street and Bourke Street form major city blocks, while Harbour Esplanade links the office and waterfront precincts. The area developed from the former Port of Melbourne docklands and retains heritage warehouses, Victoria Dock, Central Pier and the No. 2 Goods Shed, with Southern Cross station and tram routes nearby.

Docklands is an office and consulting market, with office suites and floors and medical or consulting suites in large modern buildings and mixed-use developments. The commercial stock is concentrated in a waterfront extension of Melbourne's central business area. West Melbourne, Melbourne and Southbank are nearby commercial areas.
