Cranebrook is a Greater Western Sydney suburb in the City of Penrith, about 50 kilometres from the Sydney central business district. Its main commercial area is on Borrowdale Way, with a shopping centre and parkland, while the suburb's hilly geography provides views across the Nepean River to the Blue Mountains.

Cranebrook has an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories, hospitality premises and medical or consulting suites serving a large suburban catchment. Penrith, Kingswood and Jamisontown are nearby comparison markets.
