Cooma

Cooma is a town in southern New South Wales and the main town of the Monaro region. It sits on the Monaro Highway and Snowy Mountains Highway, with a heritage-listed railway station and other historic civic buildings forming part of its built character. Cooma is also served by a local bus network and Cooma-Snowy Mountains Airport.

Cooma has a mixed commercial market, with shopfronts forming part of the town's everyday centre and warehouses and factories supporting its broader regional role. Commercial addresses include Sharp Street and Bombala Street. Jindabyne, Bega and Greenway are among the surrounding markets used for comparison.
