Chevron Island is an urban island neighbourhood within Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, about 70 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Thomas Drive is the main local commercial street, linking the island across bridges to Southport, Bundall and the coastal strip. The island is a medium-density residential area in the Nerang River, with HOTA Green Bridge providing a pedestrian and cycle connection to Surfers Paradise.
