Charlestown

Charlestown is a major suburb in the City of Lake Macquarie, about 110 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Pacific Highway is the commercial centre and main road, with Charlestown Square, Hiltop Plaza and The Forum Centre forming a substantial retail and office cluster. The suburb also contains police, fire and ambulance facilities and sits about 10 kilometres west-south-west of Newcastle.

Charlestown is an office and consulting market, with office suites and floors and medical or consulting suites serving the largest commercial centre in Lake Macquarie. Gateshead, Bennetts Green and Adamstown provide useful nearby comparisons.
