Caringbah is a southern Sydney suburb in Sutherland Shire, about 20 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. The Kingsway is part of the main shopping centre near Caringbah railway station, while the larger commercial and industrial area is centred on Taren Point Road. The suburb has a mix of professional services, retail, home furnishing showrooms and local shopping groups, with rail and bus connections.

Caringbah is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories, office suites and floors and medical or consulting suites across its commercial and industrial areas. Taren Point, Miranda and Cronulla are useful nearby comparisons.
