Byron Bay is a beachside town in Byron Shire, on the far north-eastern coast of New South Wales. Jonson Street is the principal town-centre trading strip, with Lawson Street and Centennial Circuit connecting the broader commercial area. Cape Byron, the easternmost point of mainland Australia, is a major landmark, while the town is served by coach services, a solar-powered rail shuttle and Ballina Byron Gateway Airport.
