Burwood is an Inner West Sydney suburb in the Municipality of Burwood, about 10 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Railway Parade and Belmore Street support a commercial centre around Burwood railway station, while the main shopping strip runs along Burwood Road. Westfield Burwood, Burwood Plaza and Burwood Chinatown are prominent landmarks, and the suburb is served by several Sydney Trains lines and bus services.
