Brooklyn is a western Melbourne suburb in the City of Hobsons Bay, about 11 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Geelong Road is a main road through a suburb that is largely industrial, with Millers Road and Francis Street linking its commercial areas. The precinct includes logistics offices, distribution centres, car-related businesses and the Newport to Sunshine freight railway line.

Brooklyn is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories suited to logistics, recycling, manufacturing and trade uses. The stock is typically functional and operational, with access to major roads and freight infrastructure. Tottenham, Altona North and Sunshine West are nearby commercial markets.
