Bowral is the largest town in the Southern Highlands and the main business and entertainment precinct of Wingecarribee Shire, about 100 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Bong Bong Street is the principal town-centre trading strip, with Station Street and Boolwey Street supporting the established commercial area.
