Blackwood

Blackwood is a south-eastern Adelaide Hills suburb in the City of Mitcham, about 10 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. Main Road is the principal local trading strip, with Shepherds Hill Road and Coromandel Parade connecting the surrounding area. Blackwood railway station is a transport hub with trains to Adelaide and Belair and buses to Adelaide and the outer southern suburbs.

Blackwood is an office and consulting market, with office suites and floors and medical or consulting suites suited to professional and health-related uses. The transport hub supports a local service centre within the Adelaide Hills. St Marys, Tonsley and Melrose Park are useful comparisons.
