Beaconsfield is a small inner-southern Sydney suburb in the City of Sydney, about 5 kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Queen Street and Botany Road sit within a mixed industrial and medium- to high-density residential area that forms part of the Green Square district. Green Square railway station is immediately north of the suburb.

Beaconsfield is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories supported by office suites and floors and shopfronts. Alexandria, Zetland and Rosebery are nearby comparisons.
